Who is responsible

What we collect and why

• Your order: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, the name for the star, your date, time and city, and an optional headline. We use these to make and deliver your certificate and print, to answer you, and for our accounting (legal basis: performing our contract with you; legal obligation for the accounting records).
• Payment: handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Visits: Cloudflare counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. Only if you agree in the cookie banner do we load Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics, Google Ads and LinkedIn measurement (legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via "Cookies" at the bottom of every page).

Who receives your data

• Stripe (payments), Prodigi (printing and shipping; receives the name, shipping address and phone number needed for delivery and the print file), Google (email, and analytics/ads only with your consent), LinkedIn (ad measurement, only with your consent), Cloudflare (website hosting), Anthropic (software we use to process orders and emails).
• Some of these companies process data outside the EU, for example in the United States, Canada or Australia. Where the company is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the country has an EU adequacy decision, we rely on that. Otherwise the transfer is necessary to perform our contract with you, for example to print and deliver your order in your country (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).
• If you give us a gift recipient's name and address, we use them only to deliver the order.
• We never sell your data and never send you marketing emails without your permission.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records: 7 years (Dutch tax law). Print files, customer emails and photos of damaged prints: up to 2 years after your order, to handle questions and claims. Our star register keeps only the catalog number, the star name and the date, for as long as the dedication exists, because the register is the record of what we dedicated; you can ask us to remove your name from it. Analytics data (only with consent): up to 14 months.

You need to give us the details we ask for at checkout to receive your order; without them we cannot make or deliver it. Withdrawing your consent for analytics does not affect use before you withdrew it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive your data, or object to its use, by emailing namedskies@wysworks.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your own country. If you live in California, elsewhere in the United States, Canada or Australia, you have the rights described above under your local law too; use the same email address. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
